
Whatever level you are at, we have a class to bring you the joy of dance.
Your quick guide to level descriptions

Level 1: Beginner
-You are new to Afro/Amapiano or have little foundation in these styles, even if you have a dance background in other styles.
-Or, you do not have dance experience at all.
-Or, you enjoy a slower paced class.-Classes focus on foundations in technique, culture, movement itself, dance class etiquette.
-
Level 2: Advanced Beginner
-You are expected to have some Afro/Amapiano foundations, meaning you can name some steps and recall them in your freestyle.
-You also enjoy a faster paced class.
-Or, you enjoy a class where you are empowered to make more choices in freestyle, creativity, performance, etc.
-And you are ready to contribute your energy to the class room environment.
-Classes build on and continue to grow foundations in technique, culture, movement, in addition to performance and creativity empowerment. -
Level 2/3: Pre-Intermediate
-You have a foundation in Afro/Amapiano, meaning you have a vocabulary of movement, most likely across styles.
-You can differentiate between popular Afro styles.
-You are looking for a more focused training environment/push in class.
-You may also be stepping into more of your own artistry with Afro/Amapiano, choreographing, creating content, performing or battling.
-Classes assume strong foundation and focus on developing performance and freestyle skills. -
Level 3: Intermediate
-You have a solid foundation in Afro/Amapiano, meaning you have a deep vocabulary of movement across Afro styles.
-You can differentiate music and movement between popular Afro styles.
-You are looking for a more focused training environment/push in class.
-You are invested in your own artistry with Afro/Amapiano, choreographing, creating content, performing or battling.
-Classes assume strong foundation and focus on developing performance and freestyle skills. -
Open Level: all levels are welcome
-All levels are truly welcome, even brand new beginners
-The instructor will teach to everyone in the room.
-Will explain foundational concepts and may break down technique, while at the same time may also introduce more complex concepts.
-Will create a safe environment for all students to enjoy the class and walk away with learnings across levels.
